• Vehicle Identification Number (VIN)
• Vehicle information (make, model, year, trim) decoded from your VIN
• Payment information (processed securely by Stripe — we never store your card details)
• Subscription status and billing history (via Stripe)
We use your information to:
• Monitor your vehicle for recalls and Technical Service Bulletins (TSBs) via the NHTSA database
• Send you monthly vehicle health reports and immediate recall alerts
• Process your subscription payments
• Send transactional emails related to your subscription
• Improve our service
We use the following third-party services:
• Stripe — Payment processing. Your payment data is governed by Stripe's Privacy Policy.
• Supabase — Secure database hosting for your account and vehicle data.
• Resend — Email delivery service for alerts and reports.
• NHTSA (National Highway Traffic Safety Administration) — Public recall and TSB data. No personal data is shared with NHTSA.
We retain your account data for as long as your subscription is active and for a reasonable period after cancellation for billing and support purposes. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting support@myvinguard.com.
You have the right to:

• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your account and data
• Opt out of non-essential communications
